Upcoming Talk on the Lived Cold War with Mr. DeLacy Wyman
The University of Tennessee Center for the Study of War & Society and the Department of History present a Lived Cold War Series lecture titled:
“The Cold War History and Development of the Minuteman Missile: Perspectives of a Missile Combat Crew Commander.”

Library Seminar Room, 2nd Floor, outside the Center for the Study of War and Society, the Center will host a lecture by Mr. DeLacy Wyman, Lt. Col. USAFRes (Retired).
It is free and open to the public.
Mr. DeLacy Wyman’s presentation concerns the history and timeline of the development of the U.S. Air Force Minuteman Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). From 1969-1970, he served as a USAF Minuteman Missile Launch Control Officer at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri.
