Everett Benjamin Archer (Sept. 12, 1895 – Jan. 18, 1945) was from Halls in Lauderdale County, Tennessee. He attended Union University as an undergraduate and graduated from the University of Tennessee’s College of Medicine in 1940. He was also a veteran of World War I before he volunteered in the rank of Major for the United States Army Medical Corps during World War 2. He died in the line of duty on January 18, 1945 while serving on board hospital ships in the Pacific Theater with the 59th Hospital Company. Maj. Everett B. Archer is buried at Halls Cemetery in Lauderdale County, Tennessee.
