David was born August 22nd in Nashville, TN. He grew up in Nashville and attended Mcgavock elementary and graduated fro McGavock High school. He then wen to The University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he attended ROTC and graduated with a pilot slot for the United States Air Force. He attended pilot training at Enid, OK. Upon completion of pilot training, David flew B-52s at Blytheville, AR. He was in training to become a T-38 instructor, when his plane crashed, in Clovis, NM, killing David. His instructor walked away unharmed.
