Ben Julian Brock (Sept. 20, 1923 – Jan. 11, 1943) was born in Weakley County, Tennessee. He attended the University of Tennessee for Agriculture from 1941 to 1942. He enlisted as a cadet in the Navy, serving with the Naval Air Corps. He was killed in an airplane crash during an exercise while training at Austin Peay Normal Flying School in Clarksville, Tennessee, on January 11, 1943. He is buried at Highland Cemetery in Weakley County, Tennessee.
