Stephen A. Clark (Air Force) Video Documents
Major General Stephen A Clark was born into a military family at Fort Hood. His father was a colonel and a UTK alum who served two tours in Vietnam and later lived as a defense contractor. Clark bounced around in his early years as an Army brat, and he graduated high school in 1982 at Frankfurt American High School. He attended University of Tennessee through the ROTC program until his graduation in 1986. His enlistment began the same month of his wedding to fellow UTK alum Cynthia Mays Clark, with whom he shares two daughters. His career as a command pilot in the Air Force includes over 3300 hours in 13 aircraft, and he saw combat in Bosnia, Somalia, Haiti, Afghanistan, and Iraq. During his Air Force career he attended graduate programs at Troy State, the Naval War College, and the Air War College. He served as the CEO of Summit Technology Laboratories and as faculty for the Institute for Advanced Network Security. Clark reached the rank of Major General and served as Director of Programs, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Requirements at the Pentagon. He earned such awards as the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, and a Bronze Star during his career. He currently resides in Herndon, VA.

Raised Illinois, DiDomenico served in the United States Army from 1987 to 1991. She did her basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina as one of the first female platoons trained there. She did advance training at Fort Lee, Virginia, specializing as an Equipment Records and Parts Specialist. She was stationed at Seneca Army Depot in New York, handling millions of dollars worth of equipment, and experiencing the mobilization of the Army during the Gulf War. She now lives in Louisville, Tennessee.
Daniel Eugene Graybeal (Army) HVHS Fallen Warriors Military Memoriam
Captain Daniel “Danny” Eugene Graybeal was born on November 13, 1965, in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was a Happy Valley High School graduate and an East Tennessee State University alum, the latter from which he graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate. He served as an Air Ambulance operator for the 507th Medical Company. He was killed in a helicopter crash on February 27, 1991, during Operation Desert Storm, when he was 25 years old. Graybeal was awarded a Purple Heart, Army Service Ribbon, and an Air Assault Badge. There is also a scholarship at East Tennessee State University available for ROTC students that was created in his honor and memory- the Captain Daniel E. Graybeal Memorial Scholarship. He is laid to rest at the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, Tennessee.
