History Department Awards Night

Tonight was the history department’s awards ceremony where we were able to recognize the great work of some of our interns and staff. Center Director Chris Magra spoke for a bit about the importance of the Center and the work we have done this semester. He introduced next year’s paid intern, Nathaniel Adams, and recognized the work he did this semester, and Center Intern Caroline Workman was awarded the prize for best project resulting from the internship. Caroline won multiple awards tonight, and she was not the only intern who received recognition, as Tristan Brown and our paid intern, Andrew Dingus each received departmental awards for their great historical research this year. The Center’s Research Assistant Kyle Vratarich also won the department’s award for military history. We are so proud of these students and can’t wait to see what comes next from each of them!
