Happy Valley High School Honors Fallen Military Alumni

Happy Valley High School Honors Fallen Military Alumni

February 6, 2026

If you walk through the main entrance of Happy Valley High School in Elizabethton, Tennessee, you will be greeted with a new display to honor the school’s fallen military alumni. The display features 14 fallen service members who graduated from Happy Valley High School. The table and signs were made by students and faculty. Telegrams and letters were donated by family members. In a future session of the state legislature, Senator Rusty Crowe and Representative Renea Jones will designate the highway in front of the Happy Valley High School in memory of all the school’s fallen alumni. Happy Valley High School’s website features a drop down menu with biographies, pictures, and tributes honoring these fallen warriors. A brief biography for each of these warriors can also be found here. A dedication ceremony will he held in late Spring 2026.
