Dr. Vejas Liulevicius, the Director of the Center, just published a commissioned article in Foreign Affairs about the challenges of gathering intelligence in a warzone. In the article, Dr. Liulevicius offers some telling historical examples that the Obama administration might look to as they seek to better analyze the recent revelations that chemical weapons perhaps have been used in Syria’s ongoing civil war.
