AfterWars Event: World War II in China: Important Questions and Debates

AfterWars Event: World War II in China: Important Questions and Debates

March 22, 2017

Please join us next week, on March 27, 2017 (Monday), 4pm, for Dr. James Hudson’s talk, “WW II in China: Important Questions and Debates” in E308 Melrose Hall.

Dr. Hudson will explore how past scholarship has informed our understanding of World War II in East Asia, and the recent debates that are reshaping this fascinating area of study.  Professor Hudson’s AfterWars talk will address these questions by situating them within the context of his own research on the work of humanitarian relief organizations during what was known as the War of Resistance (1937-1945) in modern Chinese history.
