Two upcoming talks by Dr. Joachim Tauber
On April 24 & 25 the Center will be hosting two events with the noted historian Dr. Joachim Tauber, a professor of history at the University of Hamburg and the director of the Nordost Institute in Lüneburg, Germany. On Wed., April 24, at 4pm, Dr. Tauber will present “The Turning-Point of World War II: Hitler’s Decision to Attack the Soviet Union.” On Thursday, April 25, at 4pm, he will speak on “The Holocaust in Lithuania, 1941-1944”. Both talks will take place in the seminar space outside the Center for the Study of War and Society (Hoskins 217), on the second floor of Hoskins Library. Both events are free and open to the general public.
